HOW TO SHOP ON THE DOLLAR STAMP STORE
• To add an item to the shopping cart, click on the thumbnail of your choice to view a larger image of the item and then click on the "Add To Shopping Cart" image that appears next to the full size image. Please note that currently, after selecting your 1st item, it will not appear in your shopping cart if you are a new customer and prompted to fill out the customer information form. You will need to re-select that item.
• To view the items in your shopping cart at any time or to proceed to check out, click on the Shopping Cart image located on the upper right side of every page of our list of image thumbnails.
• To order more items of the same item, simply change the quantity listed under the "QTY" heading to the quantity desired and click on the "Recalculate" button to see your new totals.
• To check out and place your order, simply fill out the postage form at the bottom of the shopping cart page and click on the "Order" button at the bottom of this page.
• Once you have checked out by having clicked on the "Order" button, presently you must either print out the order and then fax or mail it, or you may save the order and attach it as an email to us at info@dollarstampstore.com. Stay tuned, as you will soon be able to submit your orders to us directly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

BUY COVERS
We will be offering tens of thousands of first day covers, cancels, cachets, postcards, stationery, commercial covers, maximum cards, and whatever else may fall into this category at $1 each. Please read the following to better understand how we buy and post our covers to allow you the most efficient search possible.

• Many items except for commercial covers, are bought in bulk with a minimum of 5 per item. This method of purchase, combined with an efficient and optimized scanning and information entry system, allows us to categorize most covers by region, country, topic, and type. Consequently, we are able where others are not, to give you the most advanced search engine without compromising any details necessary for your search. In instances where items are one of a kind, like commercial covers, the same amount of information may not be available, or cannot be posted due to time constraints. (Remember - all items are only $1) In this case, you should check all possible listings that may include your interests.
• Cat #'s - Where the information is readily available, we will supply Scott cat #'s for FDC's only.
• Topics - When you pull up a topic, everything on our site in that topic will appear. That will include FDC's, commercial covers, maximum cards, etc. and whatever else falls into that category. For your information, we can enter as many as 6 topics per cover.
• Cover types - You can then narrow your search only for FDC's, or maximum cards, commercial covers etc etc.
• Countries - We categorize all our covers by country, in some instances, also by region. So if you want to search by Scandinavia, Middle East or British Commonwealth, by all means, please do so.
• Item #'s - All item #'s are preceeded by a letter. This is for our information and allows us to efficiently pick your order and send it out as soon as possible.
• New Items - Our site is time sensitive. What this means is that every item uploaded on our site has the day and time embedded in the item. This allows you to search for new items using our 30-60-90 day search engine, enabling you to spend more time searching for new items rather than going over old ones numerous times.

D - All items preceeded by a D are Disney short sets, mint never hinged except Romania which is CTO.
L - All items preceeded by an L are Russian and world locals. These locals are NOT VALID FOR POSTAGE. These places all exist, and some even make the news like Chechniya, or Dagestan. Many others, like Somalia, Eritrea, etc, etc are also NOT VALID FOR POSTAGE, as they have not been sanctioned by their respective countries. They are nice, they are cheap, they are colourful, and we have over the years sold hundreds of thousands of these sheets. Please note: On a fair number of early locals, appx from 1998-2001, the quality of the sheetlets is not up to par. In many instances, gum is not evenly distributed on the back, pinholes may appear in the margins, centering may be off, colour registrations will appear on margins etc etc. All quantities of such an item are the same. In some cases they appear in the image.

TERMS OF SALE
• Pricing - All prices on this site are $1 per item and are in US$. Canadian customers may pay either in US or Cdn $.
• Minimum Order - The minimum order from this site is $10. Please remember that all items are only $1 each, and that this is a very labour intensive site. If you can't find enough $1 items for yourself, buy some for friends, other collectors or buy some for exchange at your local stamp club. (And let them also know about out site).
• Postage - There is a minimum postage and handling fee of $2 anywhere in Canada, $3 to the USA, and $4 anywhere in the world. (Canada Post has just posted an increase in January 2005). All our material is carefully packed (covers in sleeves, and stamps in individual glassines or cards), in cardboard mailers to prevent damages. Where the weight will exceed the minimum, the actual postage costs will be charged. For larger orders we suggest insurance at $1.50, and for VERY large orders registration which is $5.25 in Canada and $9 in the US and overseas. (Prices are all in US$).
• Shipments - Shipments are generally made within 24-48 hours after your order and payment have arrived by whatever means sent, except when there is a holiday. When we are away at a stamp show, (appx 10-12 times a year), shipment may take as long as a week. If we are away longer from our site (on vacation), notification will be prominently posted on our home page. In any event, all shows will be posted on our home page.
• Condition and Guarantee - Because many of our items are in multiples, the item you see on the scan may not be exactly the item you receive. We make every effort to ship only items of high quality. Consequently minor flaws in commercial covers such as opening tears, flap tears, minor creases, etc are not sufficient reason to refuse the item. FDC's, special cancels and cachets, maximum cards etc should be free of any defects. Addressed or unaddressed items are clearly shown on the scan. With respect to stamps we ask you to remember once again that these are all $1 items. There is no extra fine or superb material, 100% perfectly centered, etc etc. If you are looking for perfection, the Dollar Stamp Store is not for you - but instead you may want to visit our regular topical site at http://www.topicalsetc.com. However, we want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. In the unlikely event you are not, please let us know by email and we will make the necessary adjustments where warranted. But we ask you, on no condition to return 1$ items, it is not cost-effective for either one of us.

PAYMENT
• PLEASE MAKE ALL PAYMENTS PAYABLE TO: WONDERFUL WORLD OF STAMPS
• Cheques - We accept all cheques drawn on either a Canadian or US bank. In most instances we ship immediately upon receipt of cheque. However, we may require time for cheque clearance if you are a new customer, or the cheque is for a significant amount. This is at our discretion.
• Credit Cards - We accept both Visa and Mastercard. Sorry, we cannot accept AMEX or Diners Club and Discover is not available in Canada. Please note that all credit card charges are converted into Canadian currency at the official rate of exchange in effect on the day your order is processed. It will be re-converted in the corrency of your card/country when you are billed. Please note: All credit card companies charge a 1-3% administration charge on purchases in a foreign country (other than your own). This is included in the exchange rate when billed by your bank. We have no control over this charge, and if you wish to avoid it, you may elect instead to pay by cheque.
• Money Orders - Canadian and US Postal Money Orders are accepted, as are Western Union and International US$ money orders drawn on a US bank.
• Cash - We do not encourage mailing cash. However, if you have no alternative, we will accept cash in CDN or US$, Euros or British pounds only to the nearest higher note denomination. Do not send coins. Cash payments are strictly at your risk. If you do send cash, wrap the cash in a sheet of paper and send in a regular mailing envelope.

MAILING LIST (coming soon)
• Stay up to date by subscribing to our mailing list. It will generally give you a head start 24-48 hours before we upload new material to the general public. It's like visiting our office in person or being the first one in at a stamp show.
